ABOUT
BBDO is an international advertising agency that, through its creative ideas, helps brands reach the world. Since 2019, the company has been operating in the Unit City Innovation Park in Kyiv. Multidimensionality and depth are the foundations of the interior design concept of the new BBDO office, developed by Vlad Hushel's team. The architectural bureau sought to create a self-contained dark space of full immersion that would inspire and help abstract away from anything superfluous.

During the implementation of the project, it was important to take into account the features of the space and the specifics of BBDO, and most importantly: to organize comfortable workplaces for more than 70 employees of the company. Because of this, the space was divided into three work areas, meeting rooms, separate offices, space for group meetings or presentations, as well as a seating and entertainment area.
Creative companies work hard and have a good rest, and the reception area is best for parties, presentations or workshops. Therefore, the large lobby bar and the large screen for cinema viewing will become the heart of the office, a place where the whole team can come together.
Working in creative teams involves multitasking, and therefore requires mobility within the office and the ability to change your workplace throughout the day. BBDO's new office is about the freedom to choose to work at an open space desk, in one of the isolated skype rooms with good sound insulation or a soft sofa or hanging chair in the lounge area. In the wide open aisles there are special armchairs with high sides for solitude or for the negotiation of a tete-a-tete.
BBDO, together with Vlad Hushel's bureau, has succeeded in creating a dark absorbing space for ideas and desires. Therefore, the cave analogies that occur when you first get here are not accidental. The special depth and mood of the space give the theme texture and atmospheric lighting. It is interesting that the office life is connected with the solar cycle, because the orientation of the space allows light to consistently pass through all its zones, leaving part of the office light and the other - dark. Light focused on concrete ceilings, walls and floors, black coal textures, glass, metal and wood create a special mood of solitude and tranquility.
Another feature of the space is its entrance group, made in the form of a multifaceted metal structure, which immediately attracts attention, intrigues and resembles the entrance to a mysterious cave.
